hello lovelies ♥
I start class at 7:10 in the morning. Which is actually illegal in all 50 states so I'm not really sure how they got away with it. To say I am not a morning person is an understatement.
Clint is still out on the East Coast, just working his life away. 2 more weeks.
I just found out that one of the students that I worked the most with during my internship last semester had his first week of class at Weber. We got him into the school and helped him with financial aid and all of that, but I wasn't sure if he would actually go because of some struggles he was having with his home life. But he did and I am so happy for him. Feelin like a proud mama right now, is what I am.
I just got back from a long run, and came home and relaxed in the hammock. Sometimes you have those days where you just breathe in everything around you and you feel like you couldn't be happier with your life. Today was one of those days.
oh and also, whenever I come home and run with my sisters, my mom always tells us to take our two dogs with us to be safe. What she doesn't seem to realize is that one dog is a 5 pound chihuahua and the other is a german shepherd... that is blind as a bat. They'll keep us real safe.
I had a little sushi lunch date with my dad today. And he is the sweetest, cutest dad ever.
I'm watching The Glee Project right now. I promise you guys will love this show. just watch it for me. Actually it's over now, so find it online or on demand and you will love me forever. I'm getting chills just watching it. But I suppose that isn't saying much because I also get chills when I watch High School Musical. and I am 100% serious.
Right now my sister and I are texting with a lisp. Thith ith tho much harder than you would think. Theriouthly.
ok I need to focus on my homework now. and by homework, I mean The Glee Project.

Random Rambling: Celebrity Edition
You should know by now celebrity gossip may or may not be my forte. holla.
Should The Situation (jersey shore guy) be embarrassed that Abercrombie & Fitch is paying him not to wear their clothes? yes. yes, he should.
Apparently Kevin Federline (Brittney's ex) just fathered his 5th child. He definitely needs to stop putting children into this world.
Hillary Duff is prego! and adorable as ever.
I absolutely despise Lady Gaga. How anyone admires her is beyond me. Did anyone see her guest judging on So You Think You Can Dance? That was a joke and a half. homegirl didn't even know what she was saying.
While we're on the topic of celebrities, let's talk about how Obama acts more like he's a celebrity than a president. No actually let's not go there because I don't want any mean comments.
Kim Kardash's wedding is in 3 days. I haven't even picked out what I'm going to wear.
While we're on the subject, the Kardashian mom, Kris, is hands down the ultimate stage mom. woman drives me crazy.
Everyone is obsessed with Kim, but I think Kourtney is prettier. and she definitely has the best style out of all of the sisters. by far. If I were to have any celebrities wardrobe, it would definitely be hers.
ugh. why are people so obsessed with celebrities? it's disturbing, people. get a life. ;)

this little ray of sunshine.
I promised my little sister Mikayla that she would get a blog post of her own. Today is her 15th birthday and so I figured today would be a good day for it.
15 things about kayla...
uno. When she was little she had a huge head. And we still make fun of her for it. Luckily she grew into it. Almost. ;)
two. She is athletic, but is a girly girl at the same time. When she was younger she could beat her guys friends at anything. Speaking of which, she probably has more guy friends than girl friends.
3. We have the exact same sense of humor and it's the best thing that's ever happened to me. [maybe because she laughs at all my jokes.] Kayla, you muggle.
four. She is going to be a sophomore, but she made varsity cheer. no big d.
cinco. she memorizes songs like it's nobody's business.
6. she is legittt at lacrosse. She got nominated by her coach for All American this past year as a freshman.
seven. She is the new mia maid president. that's my girl.
ocho. She has the same birthday as my dad.
niiine. She has the cutest little freckle right above her lip. And also she has some biiiiig ole lips.
10. she beat me in an arm wrestle a couple of months ago. I'm still upset.
eleven. I have literally never met anyone that loves nutella more. The girl eats it on everything.
twelvy. We have matching friendship ducks named quinby and quinlin that we so happen to carry around in leather pouches.
13. She's not afraid to make a fool out of herself and doesn't care what other people think.

crazy little thing
2 years, 3 months and 11 days ago, I went on my first date with the best guy I have ever met. On day 5 I came home from a date and told my roommate that I was going to marry him someday. On day 6, he told me the story of when his mission president's wife told him that one day he would meet a girl and he would just know that she was the right one. It just so happenes that on day 6 he told me I was that girl. 2 months later we were engaged. 3 months and 12 days later, we were married in the Salt Lake City Temple. Everything happened so fast. Other people doubted us. a lot of things in our lives changed. but 1 year, 8 months and 25 days later and I have never looked back. ♥

mostly what I'm sayin is...
I'll be home in 2.5 weeks. Can I get a hallelujah?
The Bachelorette this season got lame at about week 4. I didn't even care to watch it after a while. Sad but true. Although Ashely H does have a rockin bod.
Does anyone watch the Glee Project? New fave.
I made some awesome whole wheat brown sugar banana pancakes the other day. I definitely need to put the recipe up.
At this very moment, Clint is in Washington DC doing a polygraph (aka a lie detector test) for a job he applied for with the government. I keep imagining him in the white house at the oval office doing the test, but let's just admit that isn't really what's going on. I have a good imagination.
I can't wait to start school again. love it love it love it.
When I have to get in the car late at night, this is my ritual. Step one: Walk out to the car with the car key inbetween my knuckles in case I need to jab someone who is trying to kidnap me. Step two: As I am walking out to the car, make sure there is nobody under it waiting to cut my ankles so that I can't run away (seriously you guys, I am not making that up. I saw it on a show once.) Step three: hurry way fast and get in the car, but leave the door open a little bit until I make sure that no one is in the back seat waiting to capture me. Step four: If no one is in the back seat (which is the case 96% of the time. Ok 100%. but you never know), then I shut the door and lock it way fast. And then it's safe to drive away. Preparation is key my friends. Better safe than sorry, that's my motto.
Clint had the idea for us to watch the movie Pete's Dragon the other day. I don't know where the idea came from, but it was probably the worst idea he's ever had. I don't know how I used to watch that show.
I got these coral colored Toms last month and I am in l.o.v.e
I've been reminiscing about Polly Pockets lately. They were the cutest and I definitely had some awesome ones. Poor little girls these days can't even play with a simple Polly Pocket because of some choking hazard crap. choking shmoking.
Still lovin me some pinterest. hollaaa.
We played slip n slide kickball with out whole office the other day and it was the best thing that ever happened in my life. I need to post pictures of that too
