Happy Royal Wedding Day... aka the best day ever.

Well ladies and gentleman. Today was/is the big day of the royal wedding. I spazzed out a little. Maybe got some chills watching it. I don't know, maybe I did, maybe I didn't.

There's just something that I love about all of the traditions that they followed, the royal aspect of it, and the elegance of it all. Her dress was beautiful. Classy and fashionable as always, that's my girl, Kate. love her. I loved how it still looked really traditional, but not too old fashioned. I was not disappointed.

Anyways, here's a video of her first arriving for those of you who didn't see it. (that's her sister carrying the train of her dress ps. I wonder if she's jealous.)

Ok I just had to put this one on here too.

aah I love it all. ♥ I should have waited to get married so that homegirl and I could have just had a double wedding together. She told me we should but I just said I didn't want to take away from her big day, you know? and also, Prince William is wearing the same outfit that the mice on Cinderella wear when she gets married.

and check out the get up on some of these guests.
The prince's royal cousins. lucky ducks.

David and Victoria Beckham of course.

Kate's sister and maid of honor, Pippa.

Queen Elizabeth II. What a little gem.

and apparently this is Tara Palmer Tomkinson but I'm not British so I don't know who that is.

fabulous stuff.

Ok and just a quick catch up of what's been going on since the last time I posted... (not that it even compares to the royal wedding, but I'm too lazy to post another one)

After the longest car ride of my life, we are finally here. We are actually living in Northern Delaware, but the guys are working in Philly. We're about 40 minutes away from there I believe. We've still been settling in, so we haven't had a chance to do anything super fun yet. We brought our bikes out here and have got to ride them a couple of times which has been awesome. Yesterday one of the girls, Sage, and I went to the hugest mall of my life. We seriously couldn't conquer it all in one day so we're going to go back soon. The pool isn't open yet. boo you apartments. But they do have tennis courts which I am excited about because I've been wanting to learn to play tennis for a while. This weekend we are going to go spend some time with Clint's aunt and uncle that live just outside of Washington DC, so hopefully we'll get to spend some time in the city :] (it's no Great Britain right now, but whatev).

When I do something cool, I'll be sure to post. but for now... Kate Middleton and the royal wedding on my mind. haha creepy.

hope you are all having a fabulous summer (although I heard it snowed in Utah this week?) Sorry guys, just come visit. Sunny weather here :]

Did anyone watch the wedding? What did you think of her dress?

xoxo Lady Natasha of Delaware... that's what royal people call each other if you didn't know.

Gratitude

Today I am feeling expecially grateful for the wonderful gospel that I belong to. I am so grateful to have it not only in my life, but as the foundation of my entire life. Every aspect of it is perfection to me and I know that it is what brings me so much peace and happiness in my life.

Have a great Sunday everyone :]

_______+________+________+=Confidence

Right now I am part of this study where we have certain writing assignments on various topics. The topic today was confidence and it started out by us filling in the blanks

__________+__________+__________+=Confidence

I thought about this for a long time, and wanted to share what I see as confidence...

Inner Beauty: I just don't think you can truly and honestly feel good about yourself if you aren't a good person. You can try as hard as you want to put on a show and pretend that you're perfectly content being a bad or mean person. But at the end of the day, you're not going to feel good about yourself. You can't feel confident if you don't like the person you are.

Knowing Yourself: Knowing yourself can mean a lot of things. It can mean knowing the things that bring you down, and having the strength to avoid them. It can mean knowing your strengths and using them for good. It can mean knowing what makes you happy. It can mean being true to yourself and what you believe. I think the biggest part of knowing yourself is figuring out the person that you are supposed to be. This isn't something that is done at a certain single point in your life. It's something that is continually worked on day by day. Pray to find out what God's plan is for you and what he wants you to do in your life. I think it's important to take each day and look at it as another opportunity to find out who you are and what your purposes in life are- to pave your path. You can't go through life without purpose, make it a point to know your purpose and do whatever it takes to get there.Bloom where you are planted

[ps I'm in love with this picture]

intelligence: This is one that can also go in a lot of directions. First off, I think that having a good sense of humor comes from intelligence, and having a sense of humor portrays
confidence. I think being knowledgable is important in confidence, no matter what the subject is. You can be intelligent and knowledgable in school subjects, in fashion, in religion, in politics, in crafts, in current events. Just be knowledgeable about something and be passionate about it.

I want to see what other people come up with, so if you need something to blog about, try this out:]

inner beauty+knowing yourself+intelligence= Confidence♥

These are a few of my favorite things...

Things I l♥ve right now...

My Norah Jones Pandora radio station

The tv show "What Not to Wear." Mostly I love the hair and make up makeover part.

Mint girl scout cookies. tis the season.

Heels. I just bought these little darlings two weeks ago. and they may or may not kill my feet. beauty is pain my friends, beauty is pain.
and also now I want these. please and thank you.. Clint. :]

Ruffles... hence the shoes I just bought and these adorable dresses

Spending more time on my make up. I really used to only wear mascara and sometimes bronzer (only in the winter). But now I love spending more time and adding the extras like eyeshadow and blush. I feel like it's an art to me now and not just a hassle.

Vintage inspired jewelry.

Floral prints. ok, everyone is into these right now. But I've always loved them. I'm going to sew a cute floral dress this summer. You just wait. [this dress and the two necklaces above are both from Ruche, my new favy ♥

Cake decorating. that's a lie, because I've never even decorated a legit cake in my life (however, I do plan to this summer). So what I meant to say is cake decorating shows.

Barnes and Noble. Something about it is so relaxing.

Doodling. I've actually always done this. I'm pretty sure I got it from my mom. I love drawing ideas or designs on my homework, church programs, my notes from class, and my 3 month old niece Bostyn's head. ok not really the last one. I almost majored in graphic design, but decided not to. I still would love to do it, so lucky for me my sister in law is a graphic designer and has been teaching me some fun stuff on the computer. I'll have to put up some of the things I've come up with.

Using the term "When in Rome" with my sisters. And especially using it when it doesn't make sense.

Going to the chiropractor. He's a miracle worker. I love him so much, I want to buy him a bff necklace.

OPI's "You Don't Know Jacques" fingernail polish. Sorry to whoever I stole this googled picture from. I know it's kind of a wintery color, but whatev.

mixing perfumes (my favorites to mix are Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue and the Victoria's Secret Pink fresh and clean.)

And of course, how could you not love this little chunky sweetheart of a niece, Bostyn?

that's about it. Take it all in people, because by next week I'll probably be over a lot of them. When in Rome. ;)
