The Bach ♥

Happy Bachelorette Day ladies and gents... mostly ladies.

I'm going to be honest. If I didn't have friends to talk about the bach with, I wouldn't watch it. I honestly never watch tv during the school year. I don't even watch the regular Bachelor. Mostly because I don't have time to do that during school. But when summer rolls around, count me in- Bachelorette and So You Think You Can Dance (which starts on Thursday... talk about a good week)

What can I say? Sometimes a girl needs shallow, unimportant and irrelevant things in her life. Bach and Perez Hilton are two of mine :]

We're having a Bach party tonight with all the wives out here. holla. We're each bringing a snack that starts with the letter "B."

I also found a Bachelorette Bracket for us to fill out. How lame am I? That was a trick question because the answer is not lame. Guys fill out their stupid basketball brackets, so why can't we?

I found this one here. Maybe I'll hang mine up next to Clint's sales goal chart. Because they're equally important I'd say.

So basically you fill this out after tonight's episode.
and here are all the guys so that you don't forget when you're filling it out...
So get ready for cute clothes from the Bachelorette Miss Ashley H, some probably pretty hott guys (I'm married, but I can still say that), some cheesy stuff, some scandy stuff, some crying, and a whole lot of posts coming from the Bach expert. That may or may not be me. haha kidding.

May the best man win.
...I've always wanted to say that.

xoxo.

pinterest lovin

Does anyone have pinterest?

If you do, come find me. I would come find you, but I'm still not exactly sure how it works.

If you haven't heard of pinterest you should come check it out.

Basically how it works is you have your own pin boards, where you pin different pictures up. You can name the boards whatever you want. So you can have one for fashion, photography, wedding ideas, quotes, etc... just whatever inspires you.

You can re-pin other people's pictures or add your own and you can  also follow other people's boards, and other people can follow yours.

So instead of saving pictures of things you like on your computey, you can just pin it on your boards. It's pretty nifty I'd say.

Anyways... just get one, k? I think they have sort of a waiting list type of thing because it's more popular than they expected, so you have to put your email in to request an invite, and then they'll email you when you're accepted. that's right folks, you have to request an invite. feelin special already huh?

Here are some of the things I've pinned so you can get an idea :]

mine is still pretty new, and I still don't understand it all so there aren't a ton of pics up. Plus I have to do it when Clint isn't home because he makes fun of me. The nerve of that kid, I tell you what.

well guys...

[hahaha. Don't worry, when I first read it I didn't get it either. "...But I really mustache" whaaa? I'll break it down for you...
"I'd love to stay and chat, but I really must dash."
found this on pinterest. see? it's awesome]

on that note...I think it would be so awesome to have a board of fabulous mustaches. Maybe I'll do that one day out of the sheer fact that I am lame.

anyways. find me on pinterest and let's pin the crap out of each other.

oh hey guys

it's just me here. Bummin. That's what Clint calls it when I pout. Which I kind of am right now because I am    B O R E D. This is one activity I came up with while I was bored:

I'm lame. So sue me. I've never really played with one of these photobooth things so, what can I say?

If any of you have played with photobooth on your computer, you know that it's just the camera on your computer and you can see yourself on the screen.. I don't know why I'm explaining this, we're living in 2011 here, so anyways. While I was playing with the photobooth thing on Clint's computer, I had to stop because if you know me, I get scared super easy, and I kept imagining how scary it would be if I was just minding my own business, taking those pictures and what not, and then I saw a bad guy walking behind me because he broke into my house. So I had to turn the camera off and find something else to do, besides let my imagination run wild.

Here's what has been going on lately with maybe a few things that are irrelevant...

I don't have a job yet, so some days I get really bored. But for some reason, my mom doesn't really think it's necessary to talk to me for 5 hours straight or anything like that. The reason why is beyond me. just kidding mom, I love you.

Just a thought I've been having lately...I think that as a society, we should not let people use the term "bomb.com." We also shouldn't let people claim that they have "haters," or that they have their "hater blockers" on. Those are sunglasses. And despite what that ever-so-inspiring song says, your sunglasses aren't going to block you from any of your haters. Which leads us back to point A, you don't have any haters.

The place that we live is a pretty nice area. There aren't any ghettos around that I'm aware of. But maybe I am wrong because I am pretty positive that I saw a lady wearing a bullet proof vest while walking on this trail near our house. I swear it.

Oh duh. Why didn't I bring this up sooner? My older brother is engaged. They're not getting married until a year from August, but I'm super excited for them. Congrats Zach and Sammi. Haha who am I kidding? They would never read a blog. But you know, it's the cool thing to do I guess.

Clint just bought me a fresh pair of nikes. I love them because my feet get really hot sometimes and then I panic for some reason. But these sweethearts have little breather hole things that keep my feet cool when I work out. So if any other weirdos out there panic when your feet get hot, here's your solution:

Yesterday while I was cooking dinner, part of my apron got on the stove and almost lit on fire. So I don't know, maybe yesterday in the kitchen was a bad day that would have been filled with bleeps if I were on a real life cooking show.

My little Vietnamese grandpa, Ong, just got facebook. Haha my grandma said he is on it constantly. such a proud grand daughter right now. My sweet little creeper, Ong. So if you're lookin for a handsome face to add on fb...

Ok I have to go cook dinner. seeyalata.

My Inspiration

One of my favorite pictures in the entire world...

What a sweet, inspiring, and loving man. I am so grateful that I was able to grow up having him as the prophet of the wonderful gospel I am a part of.

Home of the Brave

I'm grateful for the everyday freedoms that we enjoy.

I'm grateful for the patriotic people who understand and appreciate what it means to be an American Citizen.

I am grateful that this is a land of opportunity.

I am grateful for all the many cultures and nationalities in this country. It's what makes America so great.

But particularly right now... I am so grateful for this awesome country that we live in and for the troops that are fighting and have fought for our freedom. The sacrifices they make are tremendous and if any of you have family or friends in the service, know that I am grateful for your sacrifice as well as theirs.

With the death of Osama Bin Laden, a lot of people have debated on whether or not we should be celebrating the death of another human being. I don't really think it's as much of a celebration over a death, as it is a celebration of progress made.

This is a celebration of the closure that it brought to so many who have lost loved ones.

It is about the beginning of the end of the war on terrorism.

It is about remembering those who lost their lives on September 11th.

It is about celebrating the dedicated troops and fallen warriors who have fought for 10 years to bring this to an end.

It is not necessarily about the death of another human being, but celebrating the lives of so many others who have sacrificed for the wellbeing of everyone- in the US and throughout the world.

"Land of the Free, Because of the Brave"

I love America. Cuz we're legit, son.
